Many breakfast choices can fit in short bursts without even turning on the burner. A little food will help you start your day: pour cereal and milk in a bowl; cook instant oatmeal in the microwave; toast a bagel; or just grab a piece of fruit as you hurry out the door.
You deserve a hot breakfast just like everyone else; sometimes it's worth a little additional work on yourself. Fortunately, you can still fit in the time to sit down and savor your breakfast even on your busiest mornings with a stack of hotcakes that come together in a jiffy.
You also never really need boxed pancake mix. Using three basic ingredients—self- Rising flour, eggs, and milk—you can quickly create perfectly fluffy pancakes on par with your preferred breakfast venue.
Although the fastest pancakes could only come from a box, this is actually one of the easiest breakfasts you could toss together from home. Pancakes are generally among the first things individuals learn to cook; practically everyone can make them.
Add two eggs plus one cup of milk for every cup of flour. Stirring your batter until smooth will help your fluffy pancakes to have the right mix technique.
A few little lumps won't be a big deal; lumps taste better than overmixed, chewy pancakes. Then, heat your skillet and cook the pancakes until bubbles start to develop (The trick to precisely even browning on pancakes is you don't need much — or any — grease in your pan, if it's nonstick).
This is also a good moment to toss extras like chocolate chips. You will be serving breakfast, lickety-split if you flip your pancakes and cook until they are golden brown on the second side.
