One and a half cups white sugar One half cup dark corn syrup ¼ cup of butter One spoonful icy water
Two tsp of cornstarch 3 big eggs ¼ teaspoon salinity
1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 ¼ cups finely chopped pecans One (9 inch) unbaked pie shell.
Compile the components. Set the oven for 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a saucepan set over medium heat, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, water, and cornstarch. Bring to a full boil; turn off the heat.
Using an electric mixer, beat eggs in a large bowl until foaming. Beat cooked syrup mixture gradually. Add salt, vanilla, and pecans here.
Transfer pecan mixture to pie shell. 45 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven will help you to set the filling.
Allow to cool to room temperature. Serve and enjoy!
