Russell Wilson receives a surprise push to join the Browns, while Aaron Rodgers talks with the Steelers.

Russell Wilson got a friendly offer from a Cleveland Browns player few hours after his visit. Aaron Rodgers is in negotiation by the Pittsburgh Steelers concurrently.

Aaron Rodgers is the top choice for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they decide who will be their starting quarterback for the NFL 2025 season.

Russell Wilson visited the Cleveland Browns and accepted an unexpected offer from a division foe from last year while the black and gold squad awaited the decision of the 41-year-old veteran.

Rodgers is weighing his choices before responding; he already had the offer from the Steelers at hand. Wilson, on the other hand, had made it plain that he was ready to stay in Pittsburgh

but the front desk decided against a deal, leaving the 36-year-old veteran to become a free agent alongside Justin Fields, who signed with the New York Jets.

Wilson visited the New York Giants then traveled to Cleveland in search of fresh prospects.

A Browns star like Myles Garrett has already submitted an informal pitch to Russ, the starting quarterback for the Steelers last season; it is anticipated that his future in the forthcoming NFL season will be decided in the next few hours.

Following his signed four-year contract deal with the Browns, Garrett addressed at a press conference and responded casually on the possible arrival of Wilson in Cleveland.

"I won't take him to the ground three or four times a year," Garrett said, grinning when asked for a pitch to entice the former Steelers player.

Given the two players squared off last season as division rivals in fierce games between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the odd answer is very unexpected.

The timing couldn't be better since the Browns are looking for a starting quarterback following Deshaun Watson's protracted ailment while the Steelers are concentrated on Rodgers.

Garrett asked for a trade to the Browns a few weeks ago, but as days went by Cleveland discovered a solution for the dispute.

Aiming for a strong run in the AFC North division, the great defensive end accepted an attractive four-year, $160 million contract extension offer, therefore cementing his stay with the team.
