Regarding the dough: 1¼ cups 160g of flour One tablespoon (15g) butter and one-half cup (120ml) milk Half a teaspoon of salt
Regarding the filling: One huge potato Two teaspoons of mayonnaise 60g (2 oz) of shredded mozzarella cheese
One tablespoon of minced parsley (optional) Add salt to taste. One smashed garlic clove (optional)
To make the dough, combine the flour, salt, milk, and butter in a large basin. Stir until a dough forms. Work the dough until it's smooth. Refrigerate for one hour after covering with plastic wrap.
Peel the potato and boil it until it is fork-tender to make the filling.
In a big bowl, place the boiled potato and mash it until it's smooth. Add mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, and salt. Blend until smooth and well mixed.
Roll the dough into a 22-cm (9-inch) circle after removing it from the refrigerator.
Line the middle of the rolled dough with the potato filling, then top with the shredded cheese.
As shown in the video, fold the dough's edges over the filling. Seal the dough with a pinch.
Gently roll the dough with a rolling pin. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter. Add the bread and cook until golden, then turn it over and cook it again until golden.
Remove from heat and serve.
