Mexican Pancakes Are The Luxurious Breakfast

Pancakes are a breakfast or dessert meal that cuts across country boundaries or affection when fluffy, piled high and topped with butter, fruit, and syrup.

Ingredients

Though we often utilize tried-and-true combinations—brands like Bisquick, Krusteaz, and Hungry Jack—here in the United States it's always good to vary things once in a while with surprising improvements.

Ingredients

Particularly with unusual toppings like caramel-like dulce de leche, sweetened condensed milk, and honey, our southern friends in Mexico have their own preferred brands producing a little different but no less wonderful pancake.

For our Saturday morning stacks, people in the States are all too familiar with sweet mix-ins and toppings; blueberries, bananas, strawberries, and tons of maple syrup come right to me.

In Mexico they also love fruit and maple syrup on their pancakes, but there are many variations with the addition of jams or preserves, a sprinkle of local honey, Lechera or sweetened condensed milk, or even the celestial milk caramel dulce de leche.

Ingredients vary from cook to cook, but one particularly great topping for Mexican-style pancakes is cajeta sauce, a richer variation of dulce de leche created with goat's milk and other flavors including cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla.

Order Gamesa and Tres Estrellas through Amazon or even your neighborhood Walmart to prepare Mexican pancakes at home; then, top with fruit preserves, whipped cream, cajeta sauce, or sweetened condensed milk. Breakfast on Saturday mornings might not be the same going forward!
