Luka Doncic Against New York Knicks Creates NBA History

Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the New York Knicks 113-109 to get to 40-21 for the season.

Doncic gave the Lakers again another outstanding effort, scoring 32 points, seven rebounds, and twelve assists.

Following the strong game from Doncic, StatMamba disclosed that Doncic currently boasts the fifth-most games in NBA history with 30 or more points and 10 or more assists.

Ranked after Trae Young, James Harden, and LeBron James, Doncic tied Russell Westbrook for the unprecedented 84 games.

Doncic has thus averaged 26.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game, leading the Lakers in average points thus far this season.

Having moved to the Lakers at the trade deadline, Doncic has helped Los Angeles rise to the No. 2 Western Conference ranking.

Doncic also joined LeBron James as the sole two players in franchise history to log 200 points, 50 rebounds, and 50 assists in their first 10 games.

Now, Doncic and the Lakers get ready for a Sunday game against the Boston Celtics. Boston comes into the game on a two-game winning run, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers and the Denver Nuggets.

Behind the playoff-clinching Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston right now ranks second in the Eastern Conference standings.
