Flau'jae Johnson can't wait to take on Caitlin Clark again

One of college basketball's most famous players, LSU's Flau'jae Johnson has been a name to keep on eye over the past few years. Having defeated the NCAA Championship in 2023, Johnson already understands what it is like to be a champion.

As a junior, Flau'jae Johnson is rather driven to enter March Madness this year as he enjoys her best college season thus.

Flau'Jae Johnson comes second in line to enter the professional ranks given Caitlin Clark's influence throughout her collegiate stint and what her presence has meant to the WNBA. She has recently discussed her encounters playing against Caitlin Clark, setting down some sort of challenge.

"I played Clark my freshman year and my sophomore year," Johnson said to Complex in an interview. "I'm a junior, thus first year, freshmen year, we understood it.

She found me in second year. Thus, Caitlin and I one and one right now. I had to wait to break the tie till I entered the league.

Fans of the game yearn to witness this kind of fierce competitiveness. Johnson then went on to compliment Clark as well, noting, "She's definitely the toughest opponent I've ever had to face.

She could only help to facilitate. She is the best passer I have ever encountered, ever in my life. Her and Georgia Amoore are rather passable. I truly admire her abilities and the game."

For this season Flau'jae Johnson has averaged 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. She seems ready to take on the world, and with March Madness first, her time in the WNBA against Caitlin Clark and other superstars is just around next.
