Crispy French Toast with Maple Syrup

2 huge eggs. ½ cup (120ml) milk Ingredients: 1 teaspoon white/brown sugar, optional pinch salt.

Ingredients 

1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Ingredients: ½ teaspoon cinnamon, butter and oil for frying. Maple syrup for serving.

In a shallow bowl, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla essence, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.

Instructions 

Dip bread slices into the egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

Melt some butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat, then add a little oil. Cook until golden, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Serve immediately with fresh fruit, maple syrup, or honey.
