Two ripe but firm bananas—not too sweet melted butter or one tablespoon coconut oil
One tablespoon granulated sugar—or coconut sugar—for a better choice. ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional pinch of salt improves taste.
Get ready the Bananas. Peel the bananas and evenly cut them into thin rounds—about ⅛-inch thick—to guarantee equal frying. To help with crispness, lightly brush each banana slice with melted butter or coconut oil.
Provide cinnamon sugar coating. In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and a little salt. Slice the coats. Over either side of the banana slices, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Air fry the banana chips. Set the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for the most crispy texture. Arange the banana slices in the air fryer basket in one layer; do not crowd them.
Air fried for 8 to 12 minutes, flipping half-through, until they get brown and crispy.
Cool and Have fun Let the banana chips sit for a few minutes after air fried; they will keep becoming crispy as they cool. Eat right away or keep in an airtight jar for up to one week.
