One cup dark or karo light corn syrup. 3 big eggs One cup sugar Two teaspoons melted butter
One teaspoon of pure vanilla extract 1 ½ cups, six ounces, pecans One (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust.
Set the oven for 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a big bowl using a spoon, mix corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla together; whisk in pecans. Pour into pie crust.
Preheat the oven; bake for sixty to seventy minutes. The pie is finished when the center hits 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).
Slightly tap the pie's center surface; it should spring back when done. Cover the edges with foil if the pie dough is turning too brown.
Cool for 2 hours before serving.
