Apache Kitchen: Strawberry and Spinach Salad
Recipe:
Fresh Strawberry Spinach Salad with Blue Cheese optional Spinach,
fresh baby leaves, four ounces
Washed strawberries, stemmed and quartered half-dry pint.
Optional blue cheese crumble two ounces
Pecans, roasted (optional) 2 ounces
Two ounces of balsamic vinaigrette
Protocol:
In mixing dish, toss spinach, ½ of strawberries, ½ blue cheese and ½ of toasted pecans.
Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette with ingredients; stir until all components coat.
Arrange salad on four separate platters and sprinkle almonds, blue cheese, and leftover strawberries.
