Aaron Rodgers has Steelers right where he wants them.

As Aaron Rodgers Watch enters its fifth day, he has the Pittsburgh Steelers precisely where he wants them. Since he signed into the NFL, he has had a superiority complicated.

Having muffled any possibility general manager Omar Khan may have had to re-sign Justin Fields, he understands the Steelers are desperate and have few options.

Rodgers has made the Green Bay Packers wait; the New York Jets wait; now it is the Steelers' turn.

Rumor has it the New York Giants have a two-year, $90 million deal on the table while the Minnesota Vikings are prowling around.

Although the specifics of what the Steelers have proposed are unknown, it is reasonable to presume it is near New York's and the largest difference is guaranteed money -- something Pittsburgh's head staff is famously frugal with.

Since Pittsburgh and Rodgers have been connected, what media and fans have been wondering: is he worth it? After a tore Achilles, Rodgers completed 63.0% of his throws for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in his debut season with the Jets.

Based on Pro Football Sports Network's QB+ statistic, he came in 21st between Aidan O'Connell of the Las Vegas Raiders and Matthew Stafford of the L.A. Rams.

Rodgers could have some juice left in the tank to get the Steelers into the playoffs -- and maybe deeper than they have gone since Ben Roethlisberger -- but it ignores the disruption his mere presence would create and what that might do to the locker room.
