In a hurry or fatigued, the elevator is enticing. Instead of taking the lift, taking the stairs can easily add steps to your day. Two or three flights a few times a day can add hundreds of steps without extra time.  

Take Stairs When Possible  

Daily phone calls are made for work or friends. You can effortlessly move throughout calls instead of sitting down. Walking while talking is a simple method to get your steps in and feel more energized and productive.  

Walk and Talk

In a hurry, it's tempting to jostle for the nearest parking spot. Parking farther away from your destination is an easy method to walk more while running errands or going to work. Just getting from the parking lot to the entrance might add hundreds of steps to your day.  

Park Farther Away

Most people today spend a lot of time watching TV or streaming. Make the most of commercial breaks by moving instead of pausing your favorite show. Two minutes can get you 100 steps.  

Walk During TV Breaks

Your steps need not be from one long walk. Breaking your walks into short spurts throughout the day will help you reach your goal without sacrificing much time. A few 10-minute walks can add up to a lot.
