A Conversation with Danielle Lynise: How She Launched Her Fitness and Hunting Journey.

This week we’re thrilled to be in Albany, NY talking with Danielle Lynise. Danielle  joins the podcast to share her inspiring personal fitness and hunting journey. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, athlete, hunter and a blogger at daniellelynise.blog.

Background

Danielle Lynise became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2018. She is a fitness professional and nutritional blogger who grew up in North Carolina. Danielle was exposed to the outdoors by her parents, but did not grow up in a hunting family. She developed a passion and interest in hunting after she moved to New Jersey as an adult. Both Danielle and her father faced some serious health challenges which promptly drove her interest in nutrition and health.

We talk about the following:

  • how her family’s health challenges led her down the path to hunting & wild food.
  • how she found her first hunting  mentor,
  • her NJ turkey hunting experience
  • the incredible story behind her first whitetail buck
  • her first solo turkey hunt
  • advice for people who want to start hunting but didn’t grow up in hunting families
  • life’s challenges, injuries, relationships & sports
  • why everyone’s story is uniquely important.
  • Danielle caps off the conversation talking about her upcoming Colorado archery elk hunt this fall.
