Hey everyone, we just got back from our DIY 2nd Season Rifle Elk hunt in southwestern Colorado and had an incredible trip. Some DIY hunting trips are all about improvisation, adjustments and what Jeff calls ‘dialing in’ or ‘bracketing’.

What do you do when you get to your DIY public land elk hunting location and realize you need to make a big adjustment right out of the gate? How much of an adjustment should you make?
